Citizen Welfare Trust is a development organization established with a vision to assist rural communities sustains themselve and improve their economic status. We use a child – untrie approach to achieve sustainable solution to problems plaguing India.

Over 80% of the people in India live in villages. There are about 6 lakhs villages while the towns and cities do not go beyond 3000 so only 18% of the total population of the country live in urban areas. There are many villages in India which are very small with just a few hundreds of people living in them. Life is very hard in these remote villages. There is no electricity and the water supply is erratic as the surrounding lakes, tanks and rivers often dry up when the monsoons fail, or during summer.

Citizen Welfare Trust (planning rural integrated development through various schemes) is a non government register. The vision of the pioneer, Citizen Welfare Trust considering the family as a unit by adopting an integrated approach with the main emphasize on health, education, development and improvement of rural India.
